What is Firewall Connect?

Firewall Connect is an annual subscription service which allows Laplink Everywhere users to connect to their host PCs through most firewalls and routers without requiring any configurations or compromising security. Using secure 128 bit encryption technology (the same as online banking), Laplink Everywhere instantly and securely allows you to remotely connect from any web-enabled device to your PC.

Firewall Connect is made up of two components: Firewall Connect and Firewall Connect Remote Control.

• Firewall Connect is the service that allows you to quickly and easily gain access to your PC across the Internet and past firewalls, safely and securely, with no special configuration.
• Firewall Connect Remote Control also allows you to connect to your remote PC through firewalls - and to remotely control that PC.

How to Renew your Firewall Connect Subscription

Please follow these steps after you have completed your Firewall Connect renewal purchase:

1. Purchase a renewal subscription to Firewall Connect above.  When your purchase is complete, you will receive new serial numbers and must replace the serial numbers provided by your original purchase.
2. Access your two product serial numbers from one of three locations:
   • The final confirmation webpage at the end of your online purchase
     
     
   • In your purchase confirmation emails beginning with  License Code for Firewall Connect.
   • From your Laplink support account, access My Subsriptions or My Downloads
     
     
3. Once you have your serial numbers, visit www.ll2go.com and log into your account. Follow the directions on the webpage if you have forgotten your password.
4. Click on the My Account tab.
5. Under the list of your PCs, click on the Enter Serial # button in the PC Serial # column to assign the Firewall Connect serial number.
   Note: If your PC shows an Unassign button instead of Enter Serail #, you will need to unassign the old serial number first.
   
   
6. Enter your Firewall Connect serial numbers in the popup window that appears. The format should be three groups of 4 characters each, totalling 12 characters.
7. Click Submit.
8. Click on the Enter Serial # button in the URC Serial # column next to assign the Firewall Connect Remote Control serial number.
   Note: If your PC shows an Unassign button instead of Enter Serail #, you will need to unassign the old serial number first.
   
   
9. Enter your Firewall Connect Remote Control serial numbers in the popup window that appears.
10. Click Submit.
