The Norton/Symantec AntiVirus update on March 29th, 2006 contained a false positive which has been corrected.

If you are a Laplink Gold user and have Norton/Symantec Antivirus on your Laplink-enabled machine, please download the latest Norton AntiVirus definitions from:

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/download.html
NOTE: In our tests, you have to use the Smart Updater in order to get the correct updated files.

Users of LapLink and Norton AntiVirus should download the latest virus definitions, update their Symantec product(s), then restore the files from Quarantine following the instructions at:
