Laplink Software Inc. and Toshiba Announce Partnership

Laplink Software Inc. the recognized world leader in file transfer and synchronization announced its partnership with Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc., leader in PDAs, notebook computers and digital projectors and cameras, to preinstall the LapLink Everywhere service on most Toshiba Satellite and Satellite Pro notebook computer products. Users will be able to install a 30-day trial of LapLink Everywhere via a specialized launcher application to be placed on the notebooks" desktop.

LapLink Everywhere, the first and still only device and application independent mobile web access service, offers the ability to access all of your information from up to three computers from any browser-enabled device - phone, PDA, Internet terminal, PC or laptop. There is full browser based remote control for up to 3 separate PC"s using the new LapLink Secure VNC client software. Laplink has added Windows SSL support to the open source and well accepted VNC remote control product as well as engineering its use thru the LapLink Everywhere secure network.
