PCdefense - FAQ's

QUESTION

How can I manually check for PCdefense updates?



ANSWER

When PCdefense launches, it will always ask you if you wish to check for updates to the program. If you check the box to not ask this again, it will no longer do so. Follow these steps in order to manually check for updates:
  1. Right-click on the PCdefense icon in the System Tray (down by the clock)
  2. click on About PCdefense

  3. Click on the Check for Updates button.

This will cause PCdefense check for a newer version via the update server. We recommend that you do this at least once a month to make sure you have the most recent version of the application.
