Alarms can be set five, ten, thirty, or sixty minutes before the event, or one day before the event. If you have created a custom alarm, such as a 14 minute alarm, the alarm will be rounded to the nearest supported time. In this case, 15 minutes.
Memos: You can synchronize memos that have been created in NotePad. The Motorola 388 does not support Ink Pad. The memo must have a subject of no more than 29 characters, and the body must be less than 699 characters. One one category is supported at this time.
Tasks: Tasks support a subject of 99 characters. The notes or other fields are not supported at this time.
Important Notice Use TrueSync Plus to control the 388's Back up and Restore function. But please note that the restore will not display itself until you power cycle the phone. Please turn it off, and then on again to see your restoration. This also applies to the removal of SMS messages. You will not see the SMS messages removed until you power cycle the phone. Please note that Backup and Restore was designed to be used with the original phone. You cannot backup one phone and restore that backup to another phone. This also applies to backups of previous phones; You cannot restore them to the 388.
If you have installed a previous device, you may experience COM ports conflicts. Due to an issue with updating TrueSync Plus rather than installing from a new CD, there may be conflicts. For instance if you previously had an A6188 or A008 installed, TrueSync may install on the same COM port as the previous phone. You must move the other device that is occupying this COM Port before installing TrueSync Plus for your 388 so that TrueSync will be able to recognize your 388.
We hope you have continued enjoyment of your Motorola 388 phone, and Starfish's TrueSync software.
